Full Tilt Poker launches new “Durrrr Challenge” Info page

Posted under Poker & internet poker & online poker room & poker celebrities & poker rooms & poker tournament

FullTilt.com has recently launched a new info site containing all the details of the “Durrrr Challenge”, an incredible online heads up tournament presenting some of the most talented high stakes online players taking on the online poker phenom Tom “durrrr” Dwan.

The innovative new site presents online poker players and fans the chance to track this amazing durrrr challenge and receive regular updates. With this innovative “durrrr Challenge” portal players can track all the poker action and check out each hand played during this poker challenge, and check out lots of stats, including number of hands played, time of session, amount won, average won during each hand and much more.

Around six months ago, the twenty-three year old online poker pro issued a heads-up challenge for any player with the money, time and talent to accept it. Any poker player entering the poker challenge has to wager $500,000 against Tom’s $1.5 million. Tom’s challenge specifies that a minimum 50,000 hands need to be played at the same time at four or more poker tables of no-limit Hold’em or pot-limit Omaha. At the end of the durrrr challenge, the player who has more money will win the pool. Essentially if you enter the Full Tilt Durrrr Challenge and win a dollar after the 50,000 hands, then you will secure durrrr’s $1.5 Million, but if he wins by a dollar then he will win your $500,000.

To date, a few poker players have accepted to play the “durrrr challenge”, including WSOP Champ Phil Ivey and David Benyamine, however, only Patrick Antonius has consented to the Full Tilt Poker Challenge. Until now, both poker pros have taken part in a total of 20,647 poker hands out of 50,000, with Dwan ahead $726,546 total.

For more information on the “durrrr” Challenge and durrrr vs. Antonius, please go to http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/durrrr-vs-antonius

Increasing your poker Bankroll

Posted under Poker & internet casino & online poker room

Insulating your bankroll and available funds from the online poker players hypothetical rampage is no different from the common tactics of insulating money to prevent yourself from spending too much on an everyday basis. But online poker room casino players should go even one step further and insulate all of their funds from a sudden fever of any online poker room debauchery. Almost everyone uses a bank of some sort to protect their money and prevent overspending. Utilizing these common techniques, the user and poker player can protect their online winnings long after they’ve been won and ensure that was made at the online poker room and internet casino player will not be in danger of jeopardizing the ongoing quality of lifestyle that the user has enjoyed up to this

Withdrawing the volume of your funds from the bank and depositing them in a remote location where they are somewhat inaccessible is a good tactic to keep yourself from breaking the bank. Taking the chance that you can inadvertently spend too much in your quest to become wealthy online by playing poker is a risky proposition for even experienced and professional players alike. Banks exist for a reason, and the reason is that you need to keep your bankroll there.

You may even want to distribute it amongst several safe deposit boxes and lockers, in the event that you need to access a small amount. In this way, you can build an inherent amount of difficulty in the effort to withdraw your funds. This level of difficulty provides the time and the obstacles required to allow the online poker room and casino player to rethink the decision to go all in with what could conceivably be his rent, mortgage or car payment.

Usually this can be as easy as driving to the next town down the road, far enough away that it requires several hours of travel to make a round-trip and depositing your money into a safe deposit box or even an airport or a railroad locker. The player can sink into heavy losses and bad decisions in the heat of the moment when playing at online poker rooms and online casinos, it is a wise idea to take precautions to eliminate the chances that the internet poker room and casino patron could make foolish decisions and dip into money that is reserved for other uses rather than that of the bankroll.

This is a sound strategy and one that many have adopted on the Internet, frequenting the online poker rooms and casinos that offer these freeroll poker tournaments to their players. With this never ending loop of free roll poker tournaments, players get a chance to generate income for free, a very powerful marketing tool in the online poker promotion industry. Once players get used to competing in these types of free roll poker tournaments, the online poker rooms and casinos can benefit from their increased loyalty and participation at the Internet based poker room of their choice. In the case of online poker networks, the freeroll poker tournaments available in some hosted poker rooms can be credited towards others, allowing a modicum of flexibility for this type of opportunity.

By focusing on fixing all of the poker free roll tournaments that are being hosted through the use of poker listings or keeping up with your favorite poker information websites, the serious player can make sure that they never miss a game and that they are consistently earning on the web without having to break the bank on buy ins. These types of freeroll poker tournaments are extraordinarily popular as a method of promoting online poker rooms, along with other types of online poker promotions such as the rakeback sharing affiliate program and the poker bonus deposit matching program.
