Bodog Poker Open II is open for non-pro poker players

The Biggest cash prize yet was announced by Bodog poker, with the main event awarding $300,000. The total prizes for the eight day tournament will be more than $650,000, over the course of the weeklong poker tournament. The Bodog Poker tournament will begin Sunday, September 28th and continues through Sunday, October 5th. The popular sportsbetting website will also feature six “Bounty” games, where the contestants can win $109 in tournament credits for each Team Bodog poker competitor they eliminate from the poker contest. David Williams, Jean-Robert Bellande, Evelyn Ng and Justin Bonomo are just some of the Bodog poker pros challenging all conteders in the event.

Team Bodog star, Justin Bonomo, is undeniably psyched about the Texas Hold em contest. Over the course of his poker playing career, the 23 year old has won nearly $1.4 million. He says that if you considered that the first poker tournament was a good one, you will definitely be astonished with this year’s tournament and the awards involved. He also challenges anyone that has the courage to eliminate him from the Texas hold em tournament to step forward.

The opening Bounty Tournament will be the first Texas Hold em game in the contest on Sunday. Any poker challenger has the ability to buy-In straight, and any of the other events with cash. Or another choice is to win their way into the Texas Hold em games through the satellites which are presented every night during the Texas Hold em contest week. Bodog will feature six bounty events and seven “Championship Events”, that will have higher buy-ins and deeper stacks.

In the tournament will be thirteen events which will lead up to the main contest on Sunday, October 5 at 4:00 p.m. E.S.T. This is the poker championship with a guaranteed $300,000 in cold hard cash, regardless of the number of players in the Bodog Open. All the competitors who decide to enter the main poker event will have to shell out $500 for the buy-in and in turn will be given 10,000 in tournament chips.
